Activities for Kids at the Orlando Science Center
The Orlando Science Center is focused on educational purposes as well as allowing imaginations to deem no limits. Children from various ages are able to experience what they would not be able to at home. With the Orlando Science Center magnificently creating exhibits, kids are able to see where light comes from, adventure out into space, experiment with random objects to see what they may reveal, and more!
One of the fun field activities would be Kidstown. Kidstown is an exhibit here within the Orlando Science Center that allows children from a smaller age group to explore. The height limit for the exhibit would be less than 48′ inches tall for the exhibit is a town just for them. This miniature town would be the perfect for kids that wish to have hands on activities and role-playing opportunities. With the activities at the Kidstown exhibit, the main focus of Orlando Science Center is to activate their cognitive development by allowing them to explore the Kidstown tree, discover what is under a City Street, and float boats or other several of items by the water fall.
Another activity would be the Science Park where children are able to experience the high voltage exhibit! This exhibit is of among the favorite of the kids, and that is mostly because it makes their hair stand up! Not only can you experience the high voltage, but you are able to participate in a derby race. These exhibits are focusing on magnetism, electricity, light, and sound waves.
As any other parent, children’s education is at their top priority. For both parties, the Orlando Science Center has many exhibits stretching from DinoDigs, Science Parks, Guitars, and even to Star Wars to explore. Camps, home school fields, and school field trips are even available for those that are interested.
