   The Italian American Social Club of Orlando has currently approximately 300 members who support their club with extraordinary enthusiasm and love to share in the "Joys of Growing Up Italian." Most members have an Italian heritage, but this is not a requirement as it wasn't when the club originated.

In addition to two monthly dinner dances and the Thursday night dinners, the membership supports two dinner-shows each year. The shows are made up entirely of members who love to display hidden talents by becoming mimes, singers, dancers, comedians, but most of all entertainers. They are fun lovers who know how to have fun.

The twice monthly dinner dances are attended by approximate one-fourth to one-half of the membership each affair. They love to dance and appreciate good music. Each affair is based on a theme determined by the hosting party. They claim food is important also but fun seems to be the dominating factor. Dinners are served buffet style and the bar is usually included. The cost is usually $25 per person.

The Thursday night dinners are prepared by member volunteers who know how to make the best use of the clubs well equipped commercial kitchen. Dinners prepared Italian style is most important. "Where can you get a great dinner like ours for $7.00 bucks?"

Membership meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month beginning at 7:30 p.m. and lasts until about 9:00 p.m. The club business is conducted here and sometimes followed by a light buffet type dinner.
